Your Data Rights

The six rights at a glance

Every request is free, and we answer within 30 days of receiving it — the response time Section 11 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 expects of us. Each right is explained below.

Access

Ask for a copy of what personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with.

Correction and completion

Ask us to correct (rectify) anything inaccurate, complete anything missing, or update anything out of date.

Erasure (deletion)

Ask us to erase or delete your personal data, unless we are required by law to keep it (for example, tax records on a completed order).

Withdraw consent

Change your mind at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent — use the Cookie preferences link in the footer, or write to us. Withdrawal does not undo what was lawful beforehand.

Nominate a nominee

Name a nominee — someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to act for yourself.

Grievance redressal

Complain to our Grievance Officer and get an answer. If you are not satisfied, you can escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

How to make a request

Start a data request

Email care@torganiks.com with the subject "DPDP request". Tell us which of the rights above you want to use, and include the email address or order number you used with us so we can find your records and be sure the request is yours. We may ask one follow-up question to confirm your identity — we will not ask for more data than that.

We answer within 30 days. The request is free. If we cannot do what you asked — for example, deleting an invoice we are legally required to keep for eight years — we will say so and explain why.

Nominating someone

You can name a person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to act for yourself. Send us their name and a contact address in the same way, and we will record it against your details.
